Fontana plans class on job development, retention - Inland Valley Daily Bulletin (Ontario, CA)

The city of Fontana will hold a four-week 'Job Development andRetention' class at 7p.m. Tuesdays beginning Nov. 18. The class isopen to the public, ages 15 and older, and costs $40. Courseinstruction will include job development, job retention and theproper completion of job applications. Ontario Reign to launch ticket sales Saturday

The Ontario Reign hockey team announced Thursday that single-game tickets for the 2008-09 season will be available beginning atnoon Saturday. The Citizens Business Bank Arena box office willremain open until 6 p.m. Reign merchandise will also be availablefor purchase at the box office Saturday only. Assemblywoman to host forum on health-care work force

Assemblywoman Wilmer Amina Carter, D-Rialto, will host the firstof five forums aimed at addressing the state's shortage of health-care workers. Titled 'Diversity and Demand: Addressing California'sHealth Care Workforce Crisis,' the forum will focus on diversifyingthat work force. Architecture firm executive to speak at I.E. gathering

KTGY Group Inc., an Irvine-based architecture and planning firm,has announced that Principal Ken Ryan, head of the firm's communityplanning and urban design studio, has been invited to speak at theAssociation of Commercial Real Estate Executives Inland EmpireChapter's program, 'The Effects of Climate Change on Future RealEstate Development in California,' at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at theOntario Convention Center. SB scholarship leader joins O.C. design firm

Henry Wong, vice president of the Bing S. Wong ScholarshipFoundation in San Bernardino, has joined the Newport Beach office ofCubellis, an architectural-engineering-interior design firm withclients throughout the world. Bus tour of I.E. industrial, office properties planned

The Inland Empire chapter of the National Association ofIndustrial and Office Properties will host the Inland Empire BusTour on Nov. 13.
