EAST STIRLING directors yesterday issued a 'back us or sack us' plea to their shareholders over a battle with Alan Mackin.
Major shareholder Mackin wants a board seat and this week warned the club could face extinction.
But yesterday chairman George Ronald replied: 'This club was saved once before by the local community rallying around and they need to do so again.'
Shire will be without Andy Storrer today but Martin Hardy and Gordon Russell will face COWDENBEATH, who include Craig Winters and Willie Stewart.
Boss Craig Levein said: 'We have recently had offers for both these players but turned them down. Both could have outstanding futures in the game and I rate Craig as the best in our league.'
